Graphics: Looks like a furnace.....
Awesome looking mazelike structures. The lava and corroded metal landscape make this look really cool as well.
Mechanics: Iron Plague required.....
Pretty hard to screw up a Kingdoms map. I'll use this area to go over some limitations many people may have. First, if you have less then 128MB of RAM, then don't bother. It should never load. Also, I heavily recommend at least a Pentium III. Lots to process on this map. Besides, maps this big were made for huge armies, and that sucks CPU power like mad. Also, to fight online with huge armies a 56k modem may be too limiting. If you have a 56k modem then try it and see how it does. For those 8 players games a cable modem of DSL is a must. I plan to put up a bulliton board "somewhere" where people can post which systems are strong enough and which are not. This will hopefully allow people to make smarter upgrade choices so they too can play this map. But, for those who do have enough power to play this map, you're in for the best time of your life!
Gameplay: Traffic jam hell.....
Prepare for a long slow advance. Long range weapons like catapults, and air power are good bets here. Bridges tend to get jammed up.
Overall: Loads of fun.....
Hell has been unleased. Are you ready for it? An interesting side note is I've had this map since April 2000 about 98% complete. Got lost in my archieves and I kind of forgot about it. Sorry folks. This party's been a long time in the waiting!
Story: Once upon a time.....
Volcano's are cool. So go conquer one.
