Graphics:
A truely awe inspiring view.....
Massive "stairs" dominate the entirety of this map. You'll see the lava at the bottom of the stairs representing the hells below, and then as you climb the winding stairs you will come upon the very highest peaks on this moon. From the top you'll have a commanding view all the way across the map as shown above.
Mechanics:
Smooth as silk.....
Everything works very smooth. All areas of the map can be accessed. The AI is fully functional. Copy the map files into the "Levels" directory.
Gameplay:
Decend into hell.....
You'll start at the very top of the stairs, and will have to fight way down these winding "stairs" until you reach the hells below. My advice is to build a supply and defense base every two or three "steps". Plowing though the enemy will be tough as they know which way you're coming from. Also, each "step" has a small resource deposit. One more reason to hurry, as the enemy will otherwise use it all. Finally, keep in mind, every AI is trying to climb up the "Stairway to Heaven", and will quickly overwhelm you.
Overall:
A grand vision.....
Behold, fun with geometry. Expect many more maps like this as I experiment with some extreme new map creation techniques. At this point it seems I can create truely anything. Stay tuned.
