Graphics:
Looks insane.....
Looks like the most horrible mess of platforms, bridges, and water you could ever imagine. "Face Free" by popular request.
Mechanics:
Core Contingency not required.....
Everything works very smooth. All areas of the map can be accessed. The AI is fully functional. Copy the map file into the main game directory.
Gameplay:
The bridges are death.....
Quickly Dragon Teeth off all nearby bridges. Focus on air power and nukes. Attempting the bridges is suicide as anything in your way at all jams your army up. Krogoths may use them with wanton abandon though, as nothing stops them for long.
Overall:
"Over Crude Water" on steriods.....
This map is based on a much smaller map of the same design by the game's creator Cavedog. It proved so popular I just had to create a bigger version.
Story:
Once upon a time.....
Core scientists have created the ultimate battle computer to become the brains in the war against Arm. They've discovered how to accelerate particals hundreds of times beyond the speed of light. They now use these accelerated particals in a vast pattern of velocity tubes rather then electrons in circuits. Also to make this battle computer nearly invincible, they've made these tubes hundreds of yards long and armored by 20 feet of depleted uranium. Finally, it is cooled by a series of large "heavy water" ponds. The Arm is planing to capture this huge CPU and melt its focus arrays by heating the pools with level 4 laser technology. Since this level of technology can not be armored yet the Arm must exterminate the Core before it can fry the CPU. Otherwise the Core would use long range shrapnal bombs, long since made obsolete by any type of level 1, 2, or 3 armor.
