I call this World War II map "Fortress Europe V1". It is a gigantic 63X63 screens large. You can plainly see the minimap above but let me go over some key points. Berlin, Paris, London, Rome, and Moscow are all there using the Urban tileset. North Afrika and Western Russia are represented as well since most of the war was in those two hot spots. I tried to design the map so that multi-player games might follow the coarse of the real war. Many of the terran features that affected various battles and strategies I tried to include. Any World War II buff will notice them immediatly. Most of my tiles were standard Cavedog issue. However I'd like to thank the Terran project guys for making their merging tiles. I used them a lot. A few neat things as pyrimeds were made by them too. Also, for skimish and multi-player you may want to know that it is intended that odd players are Axis, and Allied played are even. Be sure you have at least a Pentium II with 128MB of RAM. A map this big and detailed really sucks up resources.
