Graphics:
Rendered Perfection.....
The shorelines, and even the contour lines on land, were rendered from actual heightmaps of the region. The layout is as such perfectly acurate. Furthermore, the shorelines are covered in vegitation, as they are in real life being choice property. Also, the internal areas have rocks and abandoned ruins scattered about. I decided the map was too small to add accurate cities to, so I leaned more towards natural beauty.
Mechanics:
Core Contingency not required.....
Everything works very smooth. All areas of the map can be accessed. The AI is fully functional. Copy the map file into the main game directory.
Gameplay:
Plenty of metal.....
First off, as this region of the world supplies most of the worlds oil, I decided to plaster metal mines all over the place. As such, the AI grows quickly, and attacks you in vicious waves. About your only salvation is that the rivers are only passable by commanders, hovercraft, and amphibious tanks. This acts to break up the actions into distinct regions. The logistics of crossing rivers with your armies as such becomes a concern with some stratigies. Each area of the map has its own collection of start points.
Overall:
A powerful statement.....
On September 11th, 2001 America was brutally attacked. Over 5,000 lives were lost. Now it's time for the Total Annihilation of our enemies abroad. While the actual battlegrounds will be under George W. Bush's command, YOU now get to slaughter the enemies of freedom on this virtual battlefield. You want to do more? Then join the Army, Navy, Air Force, or the Marines!
